Summer in the City is coming up in just over a month, and I’m right amped up, Lover Boy is coming to town. Not usually being in my playlist, and after hearing how pumped up some of my friends were, I decided to take a listen to their greatest hits album, and there is definitely a solid line up of songs. I have, being the kind of person that can never remember lyrics, taken the initiative to put their greatest hits album into Grooveshark and started trying to get the songs into my head already, so I don’t look like, as much of a, loser who doesn’t know any of the songs, hah.

Along with the music, they’re gonna have a ton of other sweet stuff this year, including a midway, which I’m always game for. Will it probably end up being a lame midway with mediocre rides and games, most likely, but I still am super excited. It’s only a month away and counting, I hope you’re as amped up as I am. I created a playlist of their greatest hits on my Grooveshark account, have a listen if you’re too lazy to search for yourself!

Randomly as I was searching through some CSS showcase websites, I stumbled across this elegantly designed website by what turns out to be a local Winnipeg cinematography group, “At First Sight”. They find a way to take a persons wedding and tell a beautiful story as if it were a short film, and the end result is simply just fantastic!

This Melbourne apartment got a major overhaul by architecture firm Edwards Moore — and the new open interior spaces and combination of warm and cool finishes, make for an exciting space. Not quite sure how long I could stand the “plywood look” but sure is cool in the pictures.
